A blacksmith apron means thick leather, a long cut and straps that cross at the back, because that weight can't hang from the neck. That is what you will find here, with 91 cm in height on the cowhide leather design.
These aprons are not personal protective equipment. We have no standard, no certificate and no testing behind them, so we do not sell them as protection for forging, welding or against molten metal spatter. If you really work with hot metal, you need a certified apron, and that is not what we sell.
What they do well: last over time, develop a patina with use instead of wearing out, and cover you from the chest to below the knee.
For use in the kitchen, the bakery or a clean workshop, the Baker's Aprons collection is a better fit.
