A welding apron, in everyday use, is a long apron in thick leather that covers you from the chest to below the knee and comes off quickly. The three designs in this collection have that cut.
These aprons are not personal protective equipment. They are not certified, there is no standard, no CE marking and no testing behind them, and we do not sell them as protection against molten metal spatter, electric arcs or heat.
If you weld for real, you need an apron certified to EN ISO 11611, bought from a protective equipment supplier. That is not what we sell, and we would rather tell you here than let you find out at the workstation.
What these aprons do well: cover a wide area, last over time, and develop a patina with use instead of wearing out.
For use in the kitchen or for baking, the Baking Aprons collection is a better fit.
