This tea towel apron uses the small gingham check of kitchen tea towels, in cotton and rayon. Its ties go around the waist, and it stops at mid-thigh, low enough to cover your skirt or trousers while you lay the table. A gathered frill edges the fabric.
Slip it into the middle pocket, edged with white braid. It also holds the recipe card of the day.
The ties are long. Tie the knot in front of you, to the side: it undoes with one hand, without twisting your arm behind your back.
