This split potter's apron, in canvas, opens at the bottom into two panels. At the wheel, legs apart, each thigh stays under the fabric and nothing sags like a hammock between your knees. It hangs low, to below the knee.
Around the neck, the strap runs through a buckle that sets the height. At the back, two ties hold it at the waist. A pocket on each hip takes your sponge and rib.
Do you mostly throw red clay? Go for orange, marks blend into it. For pale stoneware, khaki makes them less noticeable.
