When you are cooking for a full table, this men’s kitchen apron holds up: its heavy cotton canvas keeps its shape, from the worktop to the oven. It stops just above the knee. Three pockets hold the thermometer, a pen and the tasting spoon.
Heavy canvas ends up weighing on the back of your neck. Here, the straps go over the shoulders, cross at the back and clip on with a snap hook, so your neck stays free. To wash it, you unclip the straps.
Graphite, a very dark shade, hides grease marks better. Silver grey, a lighter shade, looks less like workwear.
