A Japanese apron in linen, with some cotton, whose length makes all the difference: the hem reaches the calf. You slip it on over your head, and the straps cross at the back, holding it in place with nothing pulling at the neckline.
Two large patch pockets sit just where your hands fall when you stand. The linen softens wash after wash. A machine wash at 30 degrees, then dry in the open air.
To see where it will fall, start from the hollow of your neck and measure 105 cm down your body. The hem of the apron will reach that point.
