On this artist's painting apron in cotton canvas, nothing goes around your neck. The straps start at the corners of the bib, cross at the back and come back to buckle at the front, one on each side. Adjust them once, and after that you just slip it on without touching them.
Two chest pockets hold a pencil or a folded rag. On the left, two loops hold your brushes, and the large lower pocket on the right keeps your tubes. The bottom is split in the middle, so you can crouch in front of a canvas on the floor. Machine wash at 30 °C, air dry.
On cotton canvas, oils and acrylics often leave a mark, even after washing. If you want an apron that stays presentable, choose khaki or black.
